Why not be our own people? Why should'nt we have our own Nationality and Language? History and Facts can draw their own lines. The Ekssklavians (aka The Maafaoni) are a whole westernized African nation. We are simply another Landless-People that finally wants to be counted.
We need this and we need this now. Only this movement addresses many of the underlined problems directly connected to Pride & Respect. Yes, just by calling ourselves 'something we've chosen & now own', we will save lives. And just by having a real language 'that is not ebonics', will save lives. How? simply by replacing the Street Gangs with somthing that is much bigger, but we must act soon.
My general point is that an African-American is an immigrant from Africa and/or their offspring. The Blacks of the Americas are the children of the slave trade and we should be counted as a race separate from the African immigrants to this country. Due to the total whitewashing of our history, this would only be the first step to culture enrichment. Along with taking 'Esperanto' as our own offical language and renaming it "Swartolanga" (aka Maafaonese). Our children need to feel the same pride in having a home language of their own, like all other races do. All government paperwork should have a box for 'African-American' as well as a box for 'Ekssklavians' (similar to the 'Black/Hispanic' box often used to separate the latinos). Any black person of Central America, South America, West Indies or North America is an Ekssklavian. Blacks of the Americas Unite.

Brazilians are not Portuguese, Mexicans are not from Spain and We are not Africans

We are not Africans. Black Folk is more American than the White offspring of our former slave masters. Only Native-Americans are more American than us. We built this country and too many people have died in the process for me not to claim it. Not admitting this fact is similar to Colored Latinos & Colored Latinas claiming their not black.
To call yourself African, you must be born there. You must experience the lifestyle of the land in real life, not on vacation. In many cases, walking miles for water, indoor dirt floors, political strife and etc. You disrespect them in a way by taking a title you did'nt earn. You got it too damn easy to think you have the right to call yourself African. If blacks in the U.S. are African, that would mean Liberians are really Americans? [your homework:] Ask a real African if your African.
